Bombay Velvet is an Indian restaurant with an upscale ambiance. The interior is beautifully decorated, with dim lighting to create a romantic, high-end vibe. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and seated at a nice table. When asked if it was our first visit, I said yes, and they kindly explained their menu and recommended some popular dishes. Everything we ordered was excellent. The food arrived promptly, and everything was delicious. I would say that the lamb was my favorite dish. They kept our drinks refilled and even provided a complimentary alcoholic drink since it was our first time there. This place is perfect for a date night, business meeting, or gathering with friends. It is on the expensive side for Indian food, but they aim for an upscale dining experience. I recommend trying this place and judging for yourself.

Intro: So its been almost a year since I been to Bombay Velvet and it was to try there normal menu instead of there Valentine Special Menu Decor: Even through the place is small I really love the vibes from table set-up to how it is design as it is very classy. This is how fine dinning should be Food Highlights: My wife and I tried Chicken Lahori Karahi, Chicken Kulcha, Palak Saag and Bhel. Happy to say everything came out pretty well and it was a pleasure to finish espically since he portion size was great for the amount we paid Drink Highlights: A shocking surprise was the Mausam and Bagicha cocktails as they tasted sooooooo good and highly recommend. We did get a third drink in which I forgot the same but it was a yellow drink but it did not taste great haha Service: We had amazing service Gilbert by our waiter. He was always check-in on us to ensure our night went smoothly. Would I go Back: As I said in my original review "I would for sure go back but it would have to be on a special occasion:)" And it does stand as the prices are just to expensive to come unless its once a year. But I highly recommend you check this place out at least once!

I didn't know what to expect when walking through the doors and I was blown away but the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. It was absolutely stunning. The drink menu covered everything from mocktails to hand crafted cocktails. I thoroughly enjoyed the Hibiscus Hi Tea which was made with Kettel One Vodka, Hibiscus Tea and Cinnamon Cordial. It definitely was a thirst quencher. Highlights of the meal for me were the: Avocado Corn Bhel - the crunchy texture paired with the creamy avocado made my tastebuds sing. Alleppey Fish Curry - was cooked perfectly and the spices from the curry were on the medium level. Which I appreciated immensely. Nimish - this dessert made me feel like I arrived. The foam chaat which tasted like eating a cloud was accented with gold leaf sprinkles. The only thing that I did not get to try was the lamb and I'll definitely be back to try that.
